Being a straight shooter and tell it like it is, without pretense, is the best policy. I follow this approach myself and in the long run it think it pays off anyway as people appreciate sincerity and not hyping products or services. There's more than enough of that in marketing as it is; no need to contribute to it. I'ne used this straigh-forward apporoach for over 15 years and it has served me well. Although growth may be a little slower I havbe lots of clients who have develoed trust in me.
